CRITIQUE TIME
This photograph is a lovely headshot. The framing is well done and guides the observer directly into the eyes, the most prominent part. The immense contrast works very well for this photo.
Something that could've been done to give it more impact though, is the inclusion of a hair-light to be able to make some separation between the background and the model. There a lot of black there. Although, if your point is to make this image appear as if the model is emerging from the darkness, it succeeds very well. A very nice photograph.
