FULL-VIEW TO SEE THE DETAILS !!! LARGE SIZE !!! Commission for for her friend's birthday. A belated happy birthday to him !
She told me he liked this kind of artworks ([link] ) and asked me to put screaming faces on his armour so I made something with a similar atmosphere (though it's not really similar).
Very classic fantasy theme
I enjoyed painting it, though I unfortunately had a big artist block after having started it (some troubles caused it, now it seems to be gone)Photoshop CS3

No reference used except for the face, though it looks nothing like the original photo, since very few of the face is shown and I changed the expression.

Oi I think the armor is the scariest bit about this. It's like I'm looking at a Ringwraith...who has a face. Good job creating a hellish atmosphere with the dark colors. I just don't understand how to make something glow like that though. More practice for me anyway.
