*la ceata gri. The word 'gri' doesn't change in any way, at any time.

'Imi pipai' actually kinda means you're touching yourself (Like... Imi pipai incheietura = I'm touching/feeling my wrist).
If by it you meant "it feels", you can use "Pare", "Imi pare" or "Arata" like you've used before

Atmosferica poza! Imi place nuanta putin maro in ceata gri si ramura din stanga. Imi pare ferit si protejat in padure. Copacul nu arata izolat.

BTW What do you do to get this nuanta putin maro... doesn't seem to be quite in sepia even though it's brownish.

These kind of tones come from setting the camera's white balance on a blue-ish tone.
