MY BABY!!! It's Hope Esthiem from Final Fantasy XIII!

Before...there was Roxas....and along came Hope. He is easily my favorite character from the game. Yes, I know plenty of people complained about him being "annoying" but guess what, he's only 14...he just watched his Mother die, ended up with a bunch of strangers and got branded as the one thing hated by everyone in their world....how would any 14 year old react?

I found his character to be developed the best through the course of the story, watching him go from a scared, wimpy boy to a bold, self-assured young man! Half-way through he became the guy motivating everyone else to stay on track and get shit done!! I also really enjoyed his interaction with Lightning as well, (The duo being my favorite from the game as well) SO yeah. Hope is AWESOME.

Here's my first fanart attempt to him. I spent like 6 hours on this, mostly due to how many times I changed/redrew his face. I'm still not 100% satisfied with it, but good enough right? I definitely need more practice drawing boys, let alone "innocent" looking boys. Oh well, gotta start somewhere, eh? lol
