When I originally joined I coudln't get 'Aphroditeart' as the name, now I can - hence the change. The old one has been deactivated now and I'm trying to make sure I keep up to date on here - particularly as I have such good company now!

COOL Karen. I don't go onto myspace much anymore. To let you know the difference....I have been on myspace for 2 years and have about 700-800 page views. After a month on deviant, I have nearly 3000 page views. You do the math. People here are ENTIRELY supportive, and egos don't come into play as often as what is experienced on myspace. I feel this is my home much more than myspace ever was.
This is where you will find me now more so than myspace. Welcome to the world of pure art!
I recommend getting a premium membership. It's only 7 or 8 dollars for three months and after that you can decide if you want to re-new. It's been worth it to me.
It will inspire you to create and create and create!!!..DO IT!!...you won't be sorry.
It takes a little time to get your bearings, but like I said, you won't regret it.

Why the port? We always used to leave a glass of port or sherry and a mince pie for santa. If you mean why am I drinking port, well I need no excuse...hehe. However, one must retire for the evening. I just know my kids will get me up FAR too early tommorow!
