He screamed into the fire- the flames tinted black and red with the ashes and blood of the villagers.The shrill, ear-splitting sound was one last futile attempt to rouse his brother from the countless others already dead. And, with a single tear glistening in his eye, he found himself jerked harshly away from his crumbling reality... soon to be entangled in webs of abuse, hostility, and lies; all woven by one crafty spider who would betray him in the end.

That's just me, describing Alois based on this drawing. I thought it sounded poetic, so I put it in the description. This took FOREVER, and is my first post-camp drawing. Yes, the "crafty spider" is Claude and the strange looking web up there is supposed to represent Hannah Annafellows, his eventual sanctuary.
