This is about 90% brush. I used a quill for the face and body details.

Man, I really need to get my ass to a really good art store and buy me a brush like I been meaning to these last couple of years. The artist I've seen that use brush, the line work comes out more defined and sharper. I really need to ween myself off the damn Pigmas. They are only good for so much.

True. I learned to ink with a brush first. I couldn't get the fine liner pens to do what I wanted, and I won't even get into quills. I learned to use them but it took forever...
