The thing is, he does look friendly. And more than that the way his fucking bicep blocks that muscle magazine is a master work in story telling by trope. it's like Dark souls, but with muscle fetish; the story is in the visuals. though I do love the idea of the watcher falling for that friendly smile like a virgin school girl and getting the shit kicked out of them in an arm wrestling contest.

I think you identify all the elements of the photo that drew me to it. This muscular older guy out muscling the muscle magazine. The combination of friendliness and threat (whike intrinsic to all human interaction--maybe the physical threat more present in masculine interaction). All these things made this interesting (plus the amazing detail and muscularity in this dude's arm!!!) inspired me to go at it. Thanks!!!
