Finally got around to playing (and finishing) a Shantae game. 1/2 Genie Hero, to be specific. It was a fun 2D platformer, catchy music, and pretty visuals.

I wanted to draw Shantae for a while, but never really got around to it til' now. This is the first time I've ever drawn the character, and while not perfect, I think it looks pretty good. I tried to incorporate elements of the game's art style into the piece, but it's mostly just my own style.

I enjoyed making this drawing, and I think I'll certainly draw her again sometime. I do intend on playing more of the series anyway.
