When I was a kid we would see black bears all over the roads, stopping cars etc. now its a really challenge to evenfind one in yellowstone. I saw 5 in two days and a ton of miles . This was the biggest bear,and the best opportunity to photograph one. If you notice this shot was at 1/125 iso 800, over a bean bag out of the suv
window. 400mm, 7d, f7.1 Pretty slow shutter speed for a 400mm lens with out being on a tripod.

I thought I was gonna crash in Yellowstone because I was so busy looking for animals that my eyes were on the scenery more than the road.
