Description Blue collar workers will always exist. Just some day they'll be doing janitorial cleanup in space instead of in the basement.

Here, the aftermath of a small accident is cleaned up by a specialized EVA suit. The arm grabs the pieces, and dumps them onto the magnetic tray in front of the astronaut for safe transport.

I like it! Very technically proficient and clean, instead of inordinately greebly (greeble'd?) like most sci fi art.

I would imagine that, if the space janitor would be grabbing things that small, the EVA pack pilot would be more likely to simply have a(n extensible?) (magnetic?) claw or net assembly covering one hand instead of a separate robotic arm. You'd probably only need separate articulation if it were particularly large debris, at which point you'd probably just grab on and jet away (which would take a *lot* of onboard fuel) instead, or would need an actual vehicle to deal with.

I also offer the claw suggestion because spacesuit gloves are helpful but not perfect against depressurization effects; if you're not too squeamish, you ought to see what astronauts need to do to avoid painful accidents.

Cool. Reminds me of Planetes. Catch it if you haven't seen it already!
