Very mystical atmosphere. Especially you can't identify the attacker. You can guess it is a young boy - but no face to get any information about the character.
But it reminds me on an incident with one of my young students many years ago, who thought it would be a good idea to playfully attack me and jump on my back like this.

Β No.
It was a sailsboat class and we were near our landing stage. So I grabbed his arms tight and asked the others what to do with him or whether I should throw him into the water.
Now my ears heard a silent "Oh shit" from behind.Β
It was almost same age difference as in your scene.

The scene is quite wonderfull, and I've spent a long time gazing at it... I find 'in scenes like this' so much 'stuff' to discover when we take our time to properly 'see' what goes into the work. ... Often more than first meets the eye, inour first reaction... Maybe even as the creater (no! not a supreme being!) unconciously added into his work as it developed ... !
My 'thoughts/sympathies' are with Oliver, .. not the 'supposed' victim!
My marks, ... 12 out of 10 ...

Nice and gloomy atmosphere. I feel the damp and cold fog.
It almost looks like there will be no escape for the victim. His face reveals that he already feels the teeth painful on/in his neck. And Oliver is in a perfect position. He sits safely in the saddle and will not be so easy to throw off. But who knows how the story goes on? The picture stimulates the fantasie. Great work.
