Harry looks a lot better with his longer, messier hair than just a straight haircut! He looks a lot more like he came out of the book, than just out of a desire to look unique for a director's differed vision!
I liked Part 2 A LOT, and there were many iconic moments that they managed to bring to the screen very well! I wished, however, that when Voldemort died, they could've had the scene in the book where everyone just gives a grand cheer, and a golden sun shines straight through, the castle and the students' uniforms gain their saturated colors again, and Harry uses the Elder wand to fix his own…
Sigh, or at least have Hagrid give Harry a bigger hug at the end, crying joyful tears to see Harry alright again. Just a thought.

yea i do agree with you.. I felt the ending after voldemort died fell short of the book as well. but as a whole i must admit i enjoyed the movie immensely! of course the most dissapointing part for me was the very end when they were all at the platform with their kids, but that part was a bit silly in the book as well.

Well, yes, like I said, I DID like the movie overall! I even like that they included some of the John Williams music from the first film again for the epilogue and for the end credits!
I think what could've been better, which wasn't in the books, was maybe have Harry give his son Albus the photo book that Hagrid gave Harry the first time he left Hogwarts. Then it could've really been a symbol of moving on, and we get to remember such a pivotal part of the first two films that we generally forgot about!
Although, really, the kid in the film really didn't look like his name should be Albus, as that name really only fits Dumbledore for me.

yeaa i agree with you about the photo ablum, that would have been really sweet. Oh and the little kid they chose looked like the only name that would suit him is justin beiber. hahaha he had such a case of beiber hair! either way Albus Severus Potter is a silly name for anyone to have in the 21st century

I was 5 when the first movie came out, 6 when I first saw it. Before that, my older sister had started reading the first book to me at bedtime. I barely understood it when she was reading to me, but I remember understanding Hedwig Haha. After I finally saw the first movie, I fell in love with the story and decided I wanted to read chapter books. So, I read Harry Potter. I was in first grade, and by the time I got to second grade, my reading level was at College level, and I understood more adult concepts like murder, and death. Hermione was my favorite character, and she set the bar for me (: She was my role model. I was there for all the movies, and all the book releases from number 5 to 7. I've been with the fandom 10 years. That's most of my life. I can barely remember my life before HP. I'm 16 now, and it feels like a close friend has died or something... My childhood is finally ending. But, I will never regret being a part of Potter, and it will always be a part of my life, even now that it's "ended". I mean, I suppose there's still Pottermore, but.... You know what I mean, right? Alright, my cheesy sentimentality is over now ;D I love, love, LOVE this painting!!! Thanks for painting it!!! I'm gonna fave it.

No problemo, thanks for making this picture! And yeah, Twilight was okay, the books anyway, but they weren't deep, and when the movies came out, just.... no. I was never a "twihard". I have more favorite HP characters now, Snape definitely among them, but at the time (when I was little and in Elementary school), I wanted to be just like Hermione haha. I might've been a good reader, a "walking encyclopedia", as my teachers called me, and gotten better grades than a lot of other kids, but I don't think I ever came close to Hermione x) I'm reaaaaally, really sorry if I'm coming across as an annoying braggart, I'm really not So, anyway, great job on the picture! And high-five from one Potter-Geek to another !!!!
