Pawnee were one of the many plains tribes to adopt warrior culture after the introduction of the horse into America. Like many tribes the word 'Pawnee' is used to describe a large group of tribes. Sometimes these are language groups, or confederacies, or they are sometimes regional names. Map of traditional territory as well as current reservations upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia… ;

They are much different looking than their Sioux enemies to the north in terms of dress. Where the Sioux and their Blackfoot enemies to the North share more in common in dress.

I am such an amateur in terms of Native American history so feel free to correct me.
