Here is my design of the essence of animation, the mallard of the id and my reason for despising a good chunk of cartoon blogs on the internet and the majority of youtube /IMDB commentators (not that you don't know if you've been reading me for a while , hooohoo !)
My take is really simple , mix all the appealing aspects into one (the bouncy cuteness of the 40's+ the edgy handsomeness of the 50's). Now of course , these are the 10th of the possible expressions the duck has , so I only put the ones that sum up who he is for the most part (or at least how he's seen where I live ...)
