Description For sale on Etsy

The three components were originally going to be incorporated into one large pendant, but it ended up looking pretty stupid, so I cut it back to the basics, bought some earring bails and made them a set.

The pendant features real 12kt gold- and silver-filled wire.
Not sure if it turns up in the picture, but there is a certain glisteny bit in the pendant's stone that I'm really fond of
The packet for the earring bails says they are silver finished, but I think that refers to the colour rather than the metal, so I would not advise wearing these if you have reactions to certain metalsΒ

22 gauge nickel silver wire (copper/nickel/zinc alloy)
24 gauge 12kt gold-filled wire
24 gauge sterling silver- filled wire
rose quartz
"silver finished" earring bails

Indeed it is Getting the wire on both the round stones to be vaguely the same was a pain

Pretty! How did you get the rock to not fall out?

For the pendant, it is mainly the thicker piece curling front to back, and the thinner silver piece going from back to front stopping it from falling out of the rest of the structure.Β

Nice

I did something like this once but the wire ended up bending after a while. (Probably because it was copper. X3)

It was probably fairly soft wire. When you buy wire specifically for wire-wrapping they tell you its hardness (I usually work with half-hard), but your average craft-store wire doesn't tend to specify. My older pieces with fencing wire bend a lot too
