I know for a fact that I'm not like those idiots that are very childish and still throw paper at other people's hair while they are in school but when they go outside they are very fucking mature and behave like adults and have a smoke.

I was the same way. It gets a lot better when you enter high school. The only down side is all of my friends graduated last year and I have two more years to go.

I've always been rather annoyed with people my age...Just because most of my class is immature and stupid. They hold the wrong things dear to them. Which is why my friends consist of: my closest, dearest girls who are just like me in almost every way; my friends who are juniors/seniors, who forget I'm younger than them by a few years; and older people I talk to online who automatically asume I'm much older than I really am. I have the mind of a 40-year-old...in the body of a high school student. Go figure.
But I love small children, too. Just because everything is so uncomplicated for them. They come up with the best solutions for everything. I jut wish people would listen to them more.

That sounds like me. Besides my husband, who is 3 years older than me, I can't stand most people my age. They're immature ... they think they know the world and don't know how to admit they're wrong. They complain about money when they don't have any real bills besides ones they bring on themselves (by buying video games and crap).

i've always had that feeling, ST. i've never had many close friends because most of my peers would rather get wasted or stoned than watch a movie and hang out. not to mention that today's youth aren't exactly topping the maturity charts. hang in there, ST, and try to be tolerant of your peers. be a friend and you will find people worth being around.

I'm 17 and I feel the same.. "young" people around me (16, 17, 18, 19 or even 25 year old) are acting like they were under 15...
I can't go with my classmates to have dinner because they only want to drink, smoke, drink and smoke again.. i feel so bad at there that I always lie in order not to go with them.. there's a better life after drugs smoking and drinking alcohol but they don't seem to know..
So I nearly understand what you say, but knowing how I was when I was 13-14 and knowing how my youger cousin and her friends act.. I must say that maybe you are a bit perfectionist...
I was alone since I was 13-14 because I used to though that people the same age as me were stupid.. but now I know that EVEN THEY ARE STUPID OR YOU DON'T LIKE THEM YOU ARE AND NEVER WILL BE BETTER THAN THEM.. try to get some friends and you will realise that they aren't so bad as you think...

Try to be a little more tolerant, and try to share what you know. If they won't improve themselves, it's their loss and you tried.

That's not particularly true. When I was about.. 13/14 I had a group of friends that were 18-20. Granted, they were online, but they treated me like I was one of them. Similarly, one of my best friends is 3 1/2 years older than me, met her at 13 as well, she didn't care.
Now, as the person that's the older teen, I could care less what age someone is. Just how they act. If I found the ST and they had a level of maturity that matched mine (no matter how fleeting mine is XD) I'd be willing to befriend them.

I had this feeling all through high school and graduated with only two real friends. I don't get the chance to talk to people my own age anymore (most of the people in my university course are 19 and over while I'm still 18) and I'm loving it. All my best friends are over 22 and they're the most awesome people I've ever met.
There is nothing wrong with feeling like this, ST. Some of us were just born a few years too early/late for our mindset.

It seem there's a bunch of people that share your views, me included. ^^. I'm sixteen, and I cant stand anyone younger than me!! They're immature little brats that think the world revolves around them! I only know two people who don't fit that. Some 17 year old who stalks my page (she thinks I dont know, but I do). She's pretty immature, along with the rest of her friends (15/14 year olds). And my ex, who's 15, but the most mature person I've ever met in my life, moreso than me. Ahh, it sucks to be a bit more mature than the rest of the juniors at my HS...

I just finished eighth grade, the last year of middle school here, and I am SO glad. I can't stand most people my age... they're so immature, and it's so hard to find people with the same interests as me, and the same intelligence level even... it almost makes me feel like being smart is a bad thing. But I always remind myself it's not.
If you look hard, you can find people like you, ST. I know you can. I'm 14, just as of recently, and I've found people like me. you can, too. You just have to look.
