Description This is a tribute to ~OkamiTsukuyomi’s compassion and the selflessly kind act that was the inspiration for this piece.

“Never underestimate the difference YOU can make in the lives of others. Step forward, reach out and help. This week reach to someone that might need a lift.”

Compassion is the tie that binds every human being to each other and to the mystery of creation. It is the common thread of all religions, meditations, and community structures. Compassion does not acknowledge the artificial social, economic, and religious barriers we place between ourselves and others. It acknowledges the common cry of human longings, aspirations, and tragedies. When a reflex reaction causes us to help a stranger, with no motivation other than that person is in need, or maybe in peril of his life, our compassion is in action.

“Regarding the nature of reality, it all depends on who is looking and from where.”

Compassion is that mysterious capacity within each of us, that which makes it possible for suffering that is neither our own nor of our concern, to affect us as though it were. It is that instinctive and selfless insight that reveals to us the existence of our own true being in every living creature.

“Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.”

For the most part, the only reason we don't open our hearts and minds to other people is that they trigger confusion in us that we don't feel brave enough or sane enough to deal with. To the degree that we look clearly and compassionately at ourselves, we feel confident and fearless about looking into someone else's eyes.

“Every time you express gratitude or compassion for any aspect of yourself or someone else, you breathe life in.”

Even the smallest thing that we do for the sake of others can bring about a great transformation in society. We may not get to see the change at once, but every good action certainly has its reward. So we should try and act in such a way that our actions will benefit others. Even a smile is extremely valuable! And a smile costs us nothing.
Unfortunately, these days people often smile and laugh to ridicule others. This is not desirable. Instead, we should laugh at our own faults and follies.

“The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them: that’s the essence of inhumanity.”

Thank you OkamiTsukuyomi.

This is quite deep and meaningful dude <3 If everyone thought like this, i'm pretty sure the world would be a far nicer place :3

Thanks, I had hoped it would be so. But if everybody thought the same way then only one person would be thinking. Although, it would be nice if we all shared similar virtues, then yes. The world might just be a kinder place to inhabit.
(And I’ll be sure to tell him you think he’s beautiful.)

Suppose so, the world would be kinda grey. And yes, sharing values would be pretty good. You can still keep your norms and cultures, but its not too hard to act decent towards each other (and good :3 all of them are)
