The two have a friendly rivalry, which is just healthy competition. Matt doesn't seem to be a gamer type, but he wouldn't back down from a challenge when he's presented with one, especially one coming from Tai. However, Tai being a gamer is believable since he's not the type to hit the books and more of a jock. Since he's more tuned in to the gaming world than Matt, he's more into the game to be bent on winning. The disappointed look on Matt's face indicates him losing. Tai looks triumphant with a cheerful facial expression. It's interesting to see them sitting side by side playing games in the bushes.
