Sorry for the late response!

Uhh it's a lot to do with some lore between Cricket, Malus, and Vincent I have yet to write but it mostly involves Cricket arresting Malus. Ignazio doesn't take too kindly to people messing with his family.

Okay so this might be a bit wordy and confusing but I'll try my best to write the gist of everything. Also it isn't finished yet and I'm bad at writing so like lmao.

So to preface this Vincent used to work in Cricket's Precinct but ended up getting transferred out  into Malus' Precinct since they had recently lost a detective. While working at Malus' Precint Vincent ending up finding out that Malus was a part of the Provenzano crime family, as a way to keep Vincent quite he threatens to kill his brother.

Even with the threats looming over his head Vincent ends up working a case against Malus in secret and later goes to Cricket for help with it. So after about a month of stake-outs and just building up a case Vincent ended doing something more than stupid that got himself caught out by Malus, and pretty much held at knife point and interrogated by him. (Vincent ends up getting stabbed but he doesn't die, he almost does tho) 

And by some amazing (aka lazy) deus ex machina Cricket ends up being at the right place at the right time and ends up beating up Malus (and also revealing that he's Vincent's dad by saying something like "dont you dare touch my son" in a good fit of berserker rage) and then later arresting him. It took a day or two for Ignazio to find out about Cricket arresting his son Ignazio posted bail and got Malus out of prison and followed Cricket home to beat the living shit out of him.

I mean I already have one aero who dies pretty gruesomely so I think I already went a bit hard ^^ 
I try to avoid using lots of scientific terms when I'm summarizing things ^^
