I... ONE HUNDRED PERCENT, agree with you.
For example, Vossen (God, that name is ages old around here) has fiery fur and hair stuffs, which has it's pros and cons.
But, there are a couple others that also are kinda elemental-based, and they're pretty good as well.

I've seen Vossen's toyhou.se page and she is so hecking cute. She is, quite literally, a hot head lmao.

I think when MYOs are open again I might pick up a high-tier with the physical wings trait and try to do an air elemental thing

GASP Thank you so much, she can a bit fiery from time to time.

I might get high-tier as well, but go the complete different direction and mix the Space Core (Portal 2) and Jyushimatsu Matsuno (Osomatsu-san) to make as much of a space-based aerolin as possible.

Oh that aero is going to be quite a bit to handle if they're going to based off both Space Core and Jyusimatsu.
