Remake of this: In the Stars (2012)

I felt like doodling Dodger from Oliver and Company yet again, and decided that the old piece was in desperate need of a remake. That ugly lineart tho. Ugh. I also felt like drawing a night sky in all its glory. I simply love looking up and night and seeing the stars, the sentimental bitch that I am.

I also like the idea of Dodger being something of a dreamer/explorer in his youth. Yeah, he's meant to look "younger" and more rounded here than in the actual movie. Go figure. I'm pleased with the remake nonetheless. I don't think I managed to quite capture the mystery and calm of the original, but it was worth a shot. <3
