Yeah. I like him too. I thought he was Clopin at first in the Notre Dame de Paris musical, but that must be my "only exposed to the Disney version of the story" mentality talking. Any how, I like him best out of all the characters in the original story.

I hear that Victor Hugo based the character for Gringoire on himself.
He must have been a marvellous person. (Well, I suppose that goes without saying, he wrote Les Mis.)
This picture is darling! I am impressed with your goat drawing skills.

Really? I hadn't heard that, but it's interesting. Especially interesting that he models the most likeable male character on himself LOL. Thanks!!

XDDD I remember when reading that book, just constantly thinking "Pierre's life sucks..." Bless his heart. But at least he was one of the lucky few who made it in the end.

I'd be more concerned about the goat too! I thought it was adorable that he loved the goat so much but apparently a lot of people read as hinting to an indecent kind of love! LOL, that never seemed apparent to me when I read it!
Thanks! Goats are surprisingly easy to draw actually. If you have never dawn a goat before, I urge you to try it.

Ahh! Still need to read that one... Wow the cell-shaded look is really cute with this. Djali was my sister's favorite character from the Disney movie incidentally. I never knew why.

lol I was always the little girl who was like I HAVE TO LIKE THIS CHARACTER BECAUSE SHE'S A GIRL AND SHE'S PRETTY. So I'd always look at my sister like... what?

I always liked the animals! My youngest brother is the same as I was when I was his age lol. Whenever we watch a film and a dog or cat or whatever comes on screen he goes: "Is the dog going to die??"
