I read spoilers that Bills and Goku fought an equal battle but Bills won the battle but he used up too much power that he can't destroy the earth, then Whis knocked him cold for another 3 years. Bills is the only surviving DBZ Villain and the only one who defeated Goku, at full strength. If there is going to be a series after this, I have no doubt Bills and Goku will have another match.
