Description
I woke up in the morning and got out of bed
But tripped over my feet and bumped my head.
I stumbled to the kitchen to fix some grub
But opened a portal that dumped me in a pub.
I went to order a drink to calm my soul
But the floor collapsed and threw me in a hole.
It's dark in here, but that's fine I suppose.
But I noticed my hand had turned into a nose.
What's going on? It's hard to tell.
It's like living in some absurd fairy tale.
A light grew bright and blinded my eyes,
Then they adjusted and I saw my dog twenty times normal size.
I grabbed onto his tail and he pulled me upright.
I gripped onto his fur and held on too tight.
With a yelp and a shake he threw me to the ground,
The the world tipped over and I stood upside down.
What's this insanity? Nothing's as it seems.
Perhaps this all could just be a dream?
I woke up in my bed, and what do you know?
I got up and tripped and stubbed all of my toes.
It's crazy, I know, but that's just my life.
Try hard as I might, things aren't always right.
Just grin and bear it. Build your own way.
Tomorrow is the start of a brand new, fantastic day.
