Description
Beach volleyball is not generally considered a high-risk sport; common injuries usually are maybe a sprained wrist, or if you're unlucky, a broken ankle. But with fragile bones and an outstanding amount of bad luck it can also end way worse. The emergency room staff could hardly believe that the injuries of the four patients, who appeared shortly after each other, were caused by a volleyball match.
The four injured ladies are now compelled for a somewhat quieter activity - a (very) slow stroll is all the excitement they will get these days. Probably more than one of them now wishes in hindsight that they had done this from the beginning. That way, they could at least have saved themselves the painkillers that are now making their walks bearable in the first place.
