Description
This is a self portrait depicting me resisting all the temptations i attempt to resist and fail. I chose to use a purple backround because i feel that it symbolizes good judgement. The swirls and inconsistency of the backround represents my lack there-of and contrasts sharply with the warm colors of my skin. The white and gray female is the temptation of lust and many others are represented in the shadow figures in the backroundRelated content

its actually done on........ damn what the hell was is called, some sort of wood board, its really smooth which is better for oils. anyways its 18x24 inches

Oh it's painted on wood? that's odd. I'd think the oils from the paint would cause the wood to expand and crack unless it's been primed???

masonite is what its called, its a kind of wood. yeah you normally prime it first, i forgot too so after a long period of time it will eat away at the masonite

im the only student in the teacher's 10 years at that school to be allowed to use oils XD i had to specially request it and bug her until she wanted to smack me to get it though >.>
