Prussia became part of the thrid reich and many germans today have prussian ancestors (like myself) etc. its just kinda part of the german family. And a lot of prussian traditions continued to exist until 1945 btw. so yeah i considered it part of the german "family".

Sure, it's a part of Germany as is Bavaria, Saxony and so on... it's not on the same pan-German level as the others though

I still don't get this, why are certain countries boxes? I get it for countries like Kazakhstan, but for other countries it just feels random.

Here's the history of certain countries and why they're not balls.

Israel/Any Jewish state: Jewish states are drawn as hyper cubes since in Nazi Germany a hyper cube was said to be only a thing in Jewish physics.

Singapore/Bermuda : Singapore is drawn as a triangle as a punny sort of thing (Tringapore) and Bermuda is an inverted triangle reference to the Bermuda triangle

Reichtangle: about 2 years ago in /r/polandball There was this thing called battle form, in which a country has more power than it usually does. Reichtangle was actually the first Battle form so it had the honor to stay.

Kazakhstan: As polandball originated from Krautchan's /int/ board. and became popular there, they replaced the flag flairs. so most of the flags changed except kazakhstan, which stayed a rectangle flag. that made the user base often display Kazakhstan as a brick and made it somehow canon.

Ohio/Nepal/any country/1st division with a weird flag: Nepal and Ohio and other states often have teeth, this is just because their flag has a weird shape.

Michigan: Michigan is a block since its flag has the word "Circumspice" which sounds like circumcise (Jewish version of baptism) therefore it's a half jew and is a block.

Hope I helped

Though, the reichtangle isn't supposed to be the Second reich, it's supposed to be a fictional future reich.

According to the wiki, it's exclusively the fourth reich on the subreddit, and both anywhere else.
