That's amazing! I love the way the lightnings pierce the clouds. Also the contrast between the dark frontal clouds and the shiny ones in the back is just striking

Yes, they are real. I put camera on tripod, exposure time was half a minute and took around 30-40 shots. Two of them were successful.
Than I realized that it can be stupid to stand with a big metal tripod on the top of hill during lightning and started to move my ass out from there
