More Sylcoe concept art! Here is Akeria, a serval character that has been around for quite some time actually. X) Servals have a such a striking silhouette and design I couldn't resist making a serval character! I tried some design work around the border for fun.
I can't devolve too much about her, but I'll give a short, basic profile for her based on how we will first meet her.
She's a Leptailurus serval from the eastern coastal savannah region of my world who now lives in the southern part of the continent, (this will make sense when I actually do a map. XD)
Age: equal to 20 years old
Gender: Female
Height: 22 inches at shoulder
Weight: 28 lb
Eye Color: Amber
Wealth Status: Poor
Trinkets/Favored Items: 2 gold earrings, a gift from her father.
Likes: Poultry, fish, money, fine silks and cloths, competition, jewelry, cool rainy nights, challenges, puzzles, excitement, adrenaline rushes, chases, adventure, socializing, engaging.
Dislikes: Smart-aleks, rich snobs, shy people, arrogant people, sunny days, water, long boring conversations, staying in one place, the sea, cold, snow, liars, books/scrolls.
An energetic, optimistic, young serval seeking more in life. Growing up poor she always dreamed of a life filled with adventure and wealth seeking rare and valuable items from around the world. She travels the continent seeking a better life than the poverty she grew up in. Things haven't really gone in her favor and she still struggles to survive. She tends to be a loner despite liking to socialize with others she finds herself not able to trust others or get to know them on a deeper level. She has become very street smart, but not book smart and doesn't have a formal education. Calculating, intelligent and very perceptive of those around her she can be very charming and charismatic even when she has different intentions. Tends to be selfish and looks out for only herself and her own best interests, but doesn't go out of her way to hard others and generally avoids needlessly injuring others. Loyal and devoted to those few she trusts. Will fight to the death for what she believes in. Determined and passionate she won't give up no matter the obstacle.
Still very rough and general at the moment. She still needs a lot of work, expect this to be revised at least 100 times. I am deliberately leaving out a lot of information about where she comes from, where she lives now, life experiences and such since this will be revealed in the actual story. More characters are coming.
There will be 3 other character portraits like this, this one if Air the next will be fire then water then earth. I'm really liking this line art and soft shading for this piece so I'll probably continue to experiment with that. Enjoy!
