Omnivore/scavenger. Its hefty jaws can crush bone and large seeds.

but how does this new one feed? have you kept the prehensile tongues like on the previous version?

I've tried to make sure I ('evolution') takes full advantage of their interesting jaw apparatus. Some, like the one above, have very general jaws for a general diet. Other diets require more specialised shapes;
There are animals with both jaws fused into a hummingbird-like 'beak', some large predators have the same flesh 'coring' set up as before, some have almost no moving jaws at all and just have two sucking tubes.
I'm actually tempted to try a similar idea to Snaiad and release some body plans and skeletons and see what people come up with.

you're welcome! I can actually see an animal like this living somewhere out there in the vastness of the universe Definitely looks predatory, and even though the face looks really alien, i still have an impression that I am looking at a rather intelligent and curious creature. I was also completely jazzed about the landscape illustration with the brighteye, the contrast between the silhouette and the bioluminescent spots was totally awesome!
