I quite like this painting, the softness of it all really makes it look timeless. Did you use a kind of old master glazing technique for this or is it alla prima?

There was some glazing and a fair amount of 'scraping' to achieve the overall effect. I experiment with a lot of different approaches constantly, so I'm not even sure I could tell you the exact order of the steps I took for this piece. Thanks for taking the time to comment and to ask a question.
