This is me trying to make good on my storytelling photography."Everything's bigger in Texas," as the story goes. And their Capitol Building is a case and point example. Of course, I moved here from little South Dakota, so it was natural our Capitol would be dwarfed by theirs. Plus, I took this on my '08 Texas Road Trip where I had the experience of traveling the expansive countryside. It's a huge state. And while to outsiders it can seem a bit overblown and silly, there's something grand standing in the shadow of such a colossal structure.
Plus, I do love Capitol Buildings. Simply beautiful architecture.

Yes, it was purposefully made a little larger than even the US Capitol Building.
