hey dA it's been a while huh!i’ve been sort of half working on a newish character for a while now and finally have something to show for it. after who knows how many scrapped designs and dead ends i at long last have something (almost) complete, design wise. their name is diethyl gasoline and they couldn’t escape my habit of putting dresses on monsterswoops

Hey you can do it! Mostly for this I just blocked in the biggest shapes with a really rough brush and then whittled them down via painting over with white again and again and again until more refined shapes started to emerge. It's a lot of fun, really different from going to a linebased sketch first. There's a lot of painting over things with white completely and starting over, hah. But you can get there friendo I believe in you! c:
