SURPRISE QUEEN SERENITY FANART! (I'll take a better picture tomorrow....I promise!)I actually really needed a break from my lolita drawings I've been working on (They are coming along guys....I promise!), so I stopped to do some doodling....and...Serenity version 1 popped out. o___o''' Actually looking at it from a distance, I can tell that it's kinda lopsided (lots of detail on the left, not as much on the right), but the bright wand/magic seems to counterbalance the black on the right side of the picture. WHO KNEW!? lol
Anyway, the message that's coming to me with this picture of serenity is that she's saying "幸せようになる", or "Please be happy" as she's giving the last part of her energy to have her daughter/friends reincarnated after the battle with Queen Beryl (If my memory serves me right. It's been like...12-14 years since I've watched sailor moon). ^_^;;;
It also reminds me of one of my favorite christian songs "How Deep the Fathers Love". About how someone powerful (Sailor moon- Mom/Goddess, God/Jesus) can love you so much to be willing to die for you so that you can find happiness, or everlasting life.
I guess it just reminds me that in life there will be sorrow and heartbreak, but to not give up hope....and love others even when it tests my patience. XD If you would like to listen to the song I'm thinking of, you should check out this link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YV2zMZ…
