Ambipom is my personal favourite pokemon so i was very critic with this mega evolution, even tho is not perfet i like what i was able to do, his design is very unique and different compared to the other fan mega evolution of the purple monkey i've ever saw on the internet.-Mega Ambipom gets way more muscular, his arms are now able to fight every enemy and his body, bigger and massive, reman agile and even ore faster, he now is a NORMAL/FIGHTIN pokemon (watch out mega lopunny, i had this idea for ambipom since mega evolutions came out >.>)
-It should get the ability "ADAPTABILITY" that boost by 50% his stab moves, pretty logic for a monkey (monkey are famous to adapt at every environment)
-It should get a boost to his attack, a decent one to his defence and some small boost to his speed and special defence while his special attack decrease to be focused all on physical fight
-Megastone: ambiponite

DEF: 66 ->(+30) 96
SATK: 60 ->(-10) 50
SDEF: 66 ->(+10) 76
SPD: 115 ->(+20) 135

The stat-ups, peachy, but loosing the ability of boosting weaker moves below 60 bases seems dubious, like the design.
I mean, Ambipom is, true, a fighter with mondo fists. However, he is no Infernape. His looks is like something random.
Kinda botches the overall cheeky/happy appeal that made the Pokemonkey rather hugable.
Let's not forget, they are friendship-monkeys, too.
Turning ol' Ambi into a hulking brawler you commonly see in Fighting-type gyms does rub me slightly wrongly.
Don't get me in bad judgement, as the whole physique of muscular-speedster does come in marvelous benefits, as descripted here.
Even Adaptability make the Megapom hyper threatening. Not like Ambipom uses Double Hit/multi-hit moves that much.
I give you some credit: for a semi-bulky butt-destroyer, you increased the few rightful needs for him
to prosper in such a power-stacked metagame. At least, he's not a purple jellybean, as the old version was.

hoestly i partiall agree with you, but i was tied of all those fan made mega evolution where all they did was adding some more tails, i wanted to taka different direction, but if they would make a totally different mega ambipom it would be as well fine.i just proposed an alternative.
since ambipom i my favourite pkemon i won't stop here, i definitly will try to cme up th moreideas. i shouldgo in a mega lopunny diection since she now is the super better version of ambipom dong everythin that he es but better.

I partially agree as well, but I only liked the inclusion of a extra two hand-tails IF the form was decent.
Alas, the majority of them were not so powerful to certify Ambipom's existence as a battler in flying colors.
NOW, that Mega Lopunny is a real Mega Form, poor Ambipom, the top-speeding Normal-type of a amazing tier of quickness,
has been unfortunately dethroned in both speed AND power on a similar fighting style. Which gives ME sadness.
I admit, you have the passion for Ambipom to create something that ought to become a reality.
The reason of direction you took does contain truth and merit. Your Mega started to grow on my liking half.
Thinking outside the box played important key roles to achieve higher pecking order goals for Ambipom.
Regardless of what I said about him being a friendship-monkey and not Infernape, he MUST boost himself immensely
to keep from getting outclassed. Meaning changes got to be made, or else our grinning jungle-hero will end up wrecked.

yes i agree. plus the extra tails sounds to me like an evolution, a mega form must be just a powerful version not something different. i do hope that our beloved Pokemon will get a mega soon in gen 7

I absolutely concur. Save the hand-tail doubling for a evolution, and I WISH Ambipom obtained another.
He sorely requires better everything since the Megas arrived. Either this or a alternate form aided by a Mega Stone on the same footing.
Jeez, maybe the two in one package, even.
We both hope for Gen 7's gifts bearing to Ambipom. So freaking much.

Forget Adaptability, keep Technician and finally give it Double Kick and some other multi-strike moves. All Substitutes shall fall before you.
