(Hey, if by any chance you work for Marvel, DC, or any comic book company, don't be shy and contact me ! *wink wink*)so yeah, last summer, I tried to motivate myself and make a portfolio with Marvel's and Dc's characters, in order to submit to those companies (yeah I know, one can dream
)I got very good advice from a certain professional comic book artist, who told me that a "good" portfolio would have 3 short stories, between 4 or 5 pages each. plus a cover.
I decided to go for that.
I wrote some basic (and pretty lame) story about Marvel and Dc characters that I love, with no text. the story had to be clear and simple, so I could just show my skills in storytelling.
PLEASE, DON'T SAY THE STORY IS LAME AND FOLLOWS NO CONTINUITY, I KNOW THAT !

Love it. How long did it take you to be this good? I mean after you started to draw seriously?

errrr. I still think I'm NOT good, so I'd say it took me a lifetime to draw like this
like most of the artists, I started drawing when I was a little kid, before even writing and reading. I just never stopped
but I've been a pro for a deacde now, so I'd say I've been drawing "seriously" for 10 years.

Just a another question. Which is your favourite marvel character?

well, I guess that would be Rogue
but I also love Gambit, Pixie, Spiderman, most of the X Men, almost all the Young Avengers, etc....

I like her attitude, her rebel style, and the fact that she's not the kind of girl in distress.
she's a strong head with a cool attitude.
and she's smoking hot !

Yeah, I know what you mean. She is quite different from most of the other X-Men, and I like it. And yeah she is hot (unfortunately she wasn't made hot in most TV-versions)
But yeah. She is really cool and she is still so nice even if her powers restrain her from physical contact.
