Description Well I must say, rig shots are really hard when you are all alone!

BUT...it CAN be done which is a good thing, you cant do a speed-photo with only 1 person otherwise with the other techniques! ;]

This is taken as all my motion photos with a "automotive rig" search on it and u will get the idea, better than me explaining!

What the? Your image's EXIF data says the shutter speed was over 1 second, that can't be right can it? If you kept that car in your sights there for a second you must have been CRAWLING along!

Great shot too!

Wow, that's impressive that the car isn't at all blurred, it's very sharp despite the long shutter time. Amazing. Can't wait to see what you shoot next

Very nice picture, Dejan, but the white BMWs are the best, aren't they? I like the trees behind the car. Maybe I will shot Octavia's wheel with long exposure today, so I need some luck ...

Not just yet. I'm waiting for a call, now. Maybe I will shot the wheel in motion with long exposure for now, because I hasn't rig, just 3m pipe and basic lens.

where can one find himself a rig like this?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

dejz0r In reply to guytz [2009-04-01 23:39:50 +0000 UTC]

build a long aluminium or steel or carbon pipe, divided i sections to be better to bring with you in trunk.. 2 or 3 manfrotto suction cups and some superclamps, and a manfrotto magic arm and you're set!

sounds really hard haha
i would probably end up falling and braking the camera together with it

Lookin' nice! But it kinda looks like you just started moving- the background is pretty static.

I know.. :/ Hey it is a BIT unsafe driving faster when I was in the car myself triggering the camera! the damn surface was bouncy too, and it was too light outside to take longer shutterspeeds. ah fuck the rig shots! for another session!
