Nicely done. It's surreal and yet somewhat real, in a way. Let me explain: the stock work is very nice and blends well, and yet the composition makes it seem all that surreal. It's a great way to express that verse, definitely.

what a cool idea! It's interesting that some people are facing the cross and seem to be gladly going to the light if you will, and others are facing away from the cross and seem to be going against their will.

Yea, I'm actually glad that I included people struggling. It feels more realistic to me. Some of us follow God willingly, and others of us try and fight God's love.
