HEY IT'S BEEN A WHILE
i started my junior year at a new school and i have around 6 hours of homework a night so i don't get tons of time to work on comic but i finally made time (even tho it's short and looks terrible and not a lot happens)
BUT EY WE'LL GET OUT OF PEWTER SOON PROBABLY
AUTHOR NOTES:
- not a ton to say about this one, other than that i started it like 4 months ago
- I actually started it with the second half, then added the first a little bit later
- so that's why Elli's hair is in a bun and then suddenly not
- wow backstory
- let's play guess the visual reference :^)
- i need to do algebra homework and i'm procrastinating so much that i ended up getting things done
- DO THE COLORS ACTUALLY LOOK WEIRD OR IS IT THE COMPUTER SCREEN.........

Looking at this page (especially Makoto on panel 3)...did your art style like...drastically change since the last update? It's like...drastic but subtle at the same time. Wow, that doesn't even make any sense. I really like it though! You've clearly improved a lot. So you hush with that "looking terrible" nonsense

the biggest difference i believe between these more recent couple pages and the gym battle and such is my moving to a different inking style-- with the gym battle it's especially obvious that i was using a pencil tool with little pen pressure, but recently I adapted a newer style with a brush that is extremely reliant on pen pressure to really vary the weight of my lines. personally, i way prefer it. i'm not sure if that's the change you were talking about or rather it was just my style shifting (as always). regardless, thank you! u///u

I really love how this comic/backstory puts more emphasis on Tiv's feelings about her "slip up", it perfectly shows why she was upset during the gym battle (when she broke her wrist).
