Pagan Winter Solstice Tree Pendant Art Yarn Necklace - Polymer Clay Flowers - Hand Sculpted Cameo - Wiccan Fiber Wearable Art Jewelry

This beautiful, intricate art yarn pendant necklace is called
"Winter Solstice"

Celebrating the shortest day, and the longest night,
welcoming back the light.
Waiting for the growth of new flowers,
saying goodbye to the bygone year.

This art yarn necklace was made with hand dyed and hand spun yarn, spun with
Wensleydale, Gotland and Romney.

From the necklace hangs a hand sculpted polymer clay pendant,
built on a gunmetal dark grey filigree.
The base is dark forest green.
On it sits a delicate and intricate tree, white from frost,
with curly branches reaching up into the air.
On its branches sit some of the last leaves and holly berries.
Along the tree, vines of ivy creep up, in colours of blue, purple and gold.
At the base of the tree, the last winter flowers are still blooming.
A red and a dark blue poinsettia with white crystal rhinestone hearts.
On the tree a little gold flower clings on.
The flowers still sprout little petals of gold, red and dark blue.

The whole scene is dusted with iridescent white and silver shimmer.

The yarn is adorned with velvet and silk millinery flowers.
There is a dark teal and a dark red flower, and a little white wild rose,
sitting on a dark green oak leave and covered in white Czech Glass beads.

The yarn is stitched together at the ends into a loop to fasten around a vintage golden button.

The necklace is 28 cm long from button closure to dangling pendant.
