As long as you have a sewing machine it really isn't terribly expensive!
You can use any kind of fabric! Flannel costs about 6 dollars per yd at my fabric store so 9dollars to make one! ;0

I plan on making a Bunnaby with an ultra soft fabric. The kind babies use XD It's going to be SO SOFT!!
I'm only going to be a little sad since I really don't think they fabric store has the Bunnaby color in ultra soft .____.

Honestly the best fabric to use for them is flannel. the fabric in that tutorial was for tiger 1.0 and I made my 2.0 one with flannel and he's quite lovely to hold.
