Yeah, I usually use markers, but my pink one is pretty much shot, and I reeeally wanted his outfit to be pastel pink so I went with pencils for this piece =u=

I can't tell you how many times I've had that kind of problem! Now my two favorite mediums to work in are watercolors, and digital. I'm still learning to mater them both, but at lest I never have to worry about running out of color! So whats the story behind this character in your illustration?

Well this came about because a friend and I are doing daily art prompts so we have somethig to draw every day - my friend rather likes traps and prompted me to draw one lol
The character is one of mine that I've had for YEEEARRS...i mostly just thought he'd be adorable and embarased in a skirt -u- his name is York and he's never done somethig like this before lol

We do it in like…two week shifts. One week we get a prompt every day and you have to finish the sketch that day so you have five by the end of the week, then the next week we work on coloring and completing the sketches

Well that sounds rather manageable. Other wise I would have said that was one hell of a challenge you were pouting your self trough! But it sounds like fun, keep up the good work!
