Ever since seeing an epic Ranulf at Expo, I was inspired to create a cosplay of him of my own and... here he is XDDD!Behold Ranulf! Bwahahahahah!!! >3
But anyway, this was the first cosplay that I did pretty much all by myself. My friend ~Pan-Pan helped me by pinning the shirt. Everything else was made with angry words at my sewing machine! 8D
There isn't one article of clothing on this costume I didn't make besides the boots which I painted and hot glued the wraps onto (haaaattteeee...) and the wig which I ordered from Cosworx. The hat (with attached ears) is the most fun to wear and probably my favorite piece of this cosplay. Ranulf and other Fire Emblem characters are usually so unappreciated (unless they are Marth, Ike and Roy due to the Brawl factor). I cosplay Ike, but I wanted to cosplay someone that only people who played Path of Radiance would "get". *nods* Besides... Ranulf pwns... except when people throw rocks at him. T3T

i'm pushing out a ranulf cosplay atm myself, and i have to say, i'm taking on a lot more than i thought at first.
Your costume iiiiis brilliant and I often-times find myself looking at pictures of it (in addition to the official Ranulf art) as a reference.
I love your whole costume, but your tail is my favourite, especially. (i'm also rather fond of your hat/headband thing xD)
ALSO YOUR NOSE IS AWESOME.
Speaking of noses, what kind of make-up/paint did you use for the markings on your face? :0 I'm still debating about what to buy oTL

LoL wow, I'm honestly flattered! This pic is actually the first version of my Ranulf costume, it's been upgraded since then haha! I'm glad you enjoy it and I'm happy you are spreading more Fire Emblem love with your Ranulf cosplay. I used a make-up crayon that I bought from a local costume shop. *nods* :3

I used a brown bottomweight from Joann, but it was also kinda stretchy? Then I just used orange wide double-fold bias tape for the middle and hemming the armholes. I usually pull the shirt over my head... and try to pull it off with interesting results. XDDD
Yeah I support anyone who supports Fire Emblem cosplay, especially Ranulf. He's such an awesome character and he deserves to be recognized! When you end up cosplaying him, however, be prepared to be called "Kite"... a LOT.

For which piece? *thinks* I used a pajama pants pattern for the pants and just an old t-shirt for the shirt pattern... XD The other stuff I made up in my head.

*thinks* Well for that one I kinda made a regular headband, then made flaps to attach... *thinks* Then I added the ears which were made outta fur fabric and craft foam? It's hard to explain without showing... gah... ><;
