Awesome work! That background that you lit up really looks 3-dimensional like it's wrapping around the ships... I really thought it was actual geometry of a sort of hollowed cylinder shaped environment, until I read your description

Thanks so much! It is a trick of the camera LOL Placement is key in getting the illusion of depth out of a flat photo like that.
It took several tries to get it right.
