I thought I would give you a break from the flowers
St Ives in Cornwall is renowned for it's perfect light and people from all over the world will come here to paint. Unfortunately the day we went it was dull and very windy. I took this on a hill leading out of the town and nearly got blown over doing it!
I did get some shots of the waves though, so I might put one up one day.

He is doing well, scars will be there forever but he had his hand up to 70% it was great considering the extension of the damage,

Wow, you're almost blown away by the wind? I couldn't have guess how windy it was on the day you took this picture from looking at the photo itself.Β
The black and white sky against the colorful tones of the town is simply beautiful. I particularly like the roofscape with some being hip roof while others are flat, it provides for an interesting pattern and forms.Β Β

Thank you. Yes it was very windy especially as I was higher up. The tide was coming in and some of the shops had sand bags all ready. On the other side of the harbour the waves were quite high and you could see the wind blowing the top of the surf.

There are two totally different sides. This is the Harbour side where the beach is beautiful and all the art galleries etc and I would presume the perfect light. Round on the other side is a large beach with dramatic waves and rocks. Both are equally beautiful
