Well, to be honest. The guy that created the character designs for the movie was the same guy that designed the characters for Proud Family. Which is why people compare Dr. Facilier to Oscar.

yes they are different voice actresses. mama odie is oprah winfrey (i think) and suga mama is jo marie payton (i think she was on family matters but i'm not sure).
