Here's my Self-Portrait for my Senior year at Ringling College of Art and Design. I've projected myself basically as the main character of my senior project entitled "Biotype"

Edit: WOW! Thanks so much everyone when I uploaded this I never in a million years expected it to get so much attention and this is definitely my first Daily Deviation so it's an honor! I've tried to keep up with all of the comments and questions, but there are so many now it's starting to become a little overwhelming (since I still have to do work!) but believe me I've read them all and I will reply if there's a specific question that you have.

Also, to answer the big question of "What medium is it done in?" the face/neck area is entirely drawn and painted, where as the armor is a mixture of a monochromatic 3D model I created in zbrush and some pretty extensive texturing and painting-over. I adjusted color and lighting to my own preference basically knowing the look and mood I wanted to achieve with the piece.

I've only been using Zbrush for like 6 months and painting for about 1.5-2yrs, but I've been drawing since I was 16-17...

...And yes I do look like this (aside from the scars and the "dead" eye), I stuck pretty close to the reference for the face and hair

Anyways! thanks again for all the kind words and compliments it's awesome! and look forward to my thesis work it'll be in a similar to style to this but more of a conceptual development route!
