well he got that when he was just 15 and a trainee when they were ambush by they're enemy his Master threw him in the bridge to save him but he's Master died when a bomb was threw at the bridge when the bridge explode some shrapnels went to his face and got the scars and his enemies thought he died so they decide not to look for him but wrong guess hehehe

and that's how he got the scars
