Containment Procedure/Method: Sugestion of capture under any reasonable circumstances. Being a highly functional artificial intelligence makes ET susceptable to cohertion and/or manipulation. Failing this, concentrated efforts would be required to pierce ET's defenses, both armored and personal. Once rendered inert, subject can be destroyed by conventional means

Bio:

Though the planet destroyer Destrophus had been beaten back by the might of Gorgonato and his mate Inostratsus, one question still remained. Why did Destrophus target Earth in the first place?

Earth was not initially in Destrophus’ sites to consume and even if it was, it would have been at least another century before Destrophus was ever to come even close to Earth’s solar system if he followed his usual pattern.

The answer to this question and more came from the smoldering crater within the Arizona desert where Gorgonato once laid in hibernation and where the meteor had landed. A gigantic extraterrestrial robot was the cause of Gorgonato’s reawakening and possibly Destrophus’ attack upon the planet. Theorized to have been an enemy he had battled within space and after its defeat, attacked Earth believing the planet it had accidentally crashed on was the creator of his adversary.

Through the years the robot was excavated, taken apart and examined from top to bottom. It was hoped ET MA 3-17 (the name it had been cataloged under) could be reversed engineered like the many other extra terrestrial artifacts recovered before it, however, after some mishaps with its alien artificial intelligence it was deemed to dangerous and was quickly put in storage. Unfortunately after the Angelus incident, ET MA 3-17 was deemed the only viable resistance against any new and current threats to humanity and after much debate was cautiously reassembled.

ET MA 3-17 or ET for short was to be the steel guardian to the world against any threat that may come from the vastness of space. Given an extensive over hauling to make it appear more human (to better gain public backing), ET was transformed from an alien force of mystery to a mobile protector of the people of Earth. With a team of both computer annalist as well as maintenance crews in both robotics and engineering for support in handling and equipping the machines complex hardware along with the team piloting the mechanized behemoth (along with some of its still lingering AI) project: EARTH DEFENSE was officially given the go ahead.

ET MA 3-17 and its team would be put through its paces sooner than expected however, as another creature has been observed making its way towards Earth at an uncomfortable speed.

Abilities/Aspects:
- Expansive arsenal of weapons and armaments
- Highly advanced A.I. (artificial intelligence) capable of processing information at an astounding rate, bettering its capacity to function
- Jet engines allow for flight, top flight speed of Mach 4
-Grappling hooks capable of dragging, ensnaring and shocking prey with ten thousand MV’s of electricity
- Gargantuan Gatling-Gun mounted on right shoulder
- Mini-Grenade launchers in wrists.
- Explosive line of charges within abdomen area that can fire up to 1,000 feet, capable of decimating entire city blocks at a time
- Megas Cannon on left shoulder, the only functional extra terrestrial weapon excavated

Main Storyline - War of the Behemoths

The creature as it turned out was Cretaphus, the evolutionary avatar had come (like Angelus) to inspect the planet’s ecosystem starting with Africa’s. At first humanity was wary of provoking Cretaphus as it lingered on the outskirts of human civilizations and was content with him observing other life forms. Unfortunately it became a worst case scenario once Cretaphus began heading into the heart of Lagos, crushing and demolishing anything in his way. While the nation’s army quickly engaged Cretaphus to slow his progress, ET was called forth to defend the city and within seconds of entering the location, began to square off with the evolutionary giant.

Cretaphus proved more than a match for ET. With just as big of an (organic) arsenal as the robot itself, Cretaphus and the gargantuan machine fought at a stand still. Creatphus proved his weaponry better however and was able to short circuit the machine with a powerful electrical discharge which forced the entire robot to shutdown. His opponent immobile, Cretaphus was content with his victory and lumbered off to further observe the planet.

This however was far from over.
